IGS / IGN / IGD

IG series light barriers are active opto-electronic protective devices (AOPD) type 2 and compliant to IEC 61496. Furthermore, derivatives suitable for the use within Ex Zones 1(0) and 21(20) are available.

Key Features

• Up to 30m range (e.g. IGD-30)
• Performance level e as defined in EN ISO 13849-1
• Safety integrity level (SIL) 3 as defined in IEC 61508-1
• IGD-types feature a flameproof enclosure and can be installed in Ex Zones 1 and 21
• Optical radiation emitted by the sensor is allowed to enter Ex Zones 0 and 20
• Robust M30 housing, nickel-plated brass
