IRS-LA / IRN-LA / IRD-LA

Proximity Switches are also known as Photoelectric Proximity Sensors. Depending on the amount of diffuse reflected light, the analog sensor IRx-LA supplies an analog output signal of 0-10 VDC or 0-20mA (or optionally 4-20mA). Thus, distance detection can be realised on defined reflection surfaces. With a connected light guide (functioning as a light barrier), the sensor is also used for the opacity detection of liquids. By means of the potentiometer the sensor can be optimally adapted to the measuring conditions.

This series can be combined with QW type light guides for web edge steering.
