ATEX - Conclusion
The overall goal of facilities management should be to lower the overall explosive atmosphere risk and to use the correct category of equipment for the Ex Zone designation, and if several compliant technical alternatives are available with the same protection levels and performance, choose the most appropriate design whilst considering cost benefits.
