The Tippkemper group products are of German and Swiss manufacture and include proximity switches, laser distance sensors, photoelectric line sensors, capacitive level sensors with Teflon probes, light barriers, retroreflective light barriers, inductive switches, light guides, 90° light guides, high temperature light guides, cross-section converters, and intrinsically safe power supplies and switching devices. We also offer custom products.

Ex d, Ex ia, Ex nA, Ex op are available in M18, M30 and M42 enclosures. Products of explosion protection category 1, 2 and 3 (gas and dust), and up to IP68 protection are also available.

Applications include industrial gas and dusty atmospheres, heavily polluted atmospheres, explosive areas (ATEX Ex Zones 0, 1, 2 and 20, 21, 22), high voltage environments, high temperature environments (up to 400°C); and including various sectors such as the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Tippkemper-Matrix GmbH in Overath-Marialinden has been providing solutions in the field of sensor technology for nearly 50 years, with currently over 50 employees.
